Adding a Rating

       You and your friends go to a movie in a theater. There is a movie that's rated G, and other movie is rated PG. there are PG-13 and R. Your friends decide to go to the one that is rated R, aka *restricted*.
Buying the tickets is no problem and you all go to the movie. Back in the 1950's kids couldn't do that. As a mater of fact there was only G and R rated movies. Children needed a parent to sit with them if they wanted to watch a restricted movie.
       I truly think that there should be a rating that is just strictly for mature adults. We all know that 18, 19, 20, 21 year olds are still like kids. Not physical, just mentally. They do stupid things, they shouldn't be considered adults. They shouldn't watch movies that are meant for 40 year old.
       The world is changing, people need more strict ratings.
       

Speech

An a attack on the USA from I is in place. In 7 days a nuclear bomb will be shot from the capital. Do not be afraid, we have sent 3000 special force troops to find and disable the bomb. If they do not succeed, we have prepared a evacuation to a safe place. Please do not worry, we have everything under control.

Is hunting good or bad

There are alot of people that are against hunting, which leads to the argument is it "good or bad".
Truly, I think that its good. People always look at hunting as it just kills animals, but their wrong. Hunting helps the population of dear stay at a good size. Not to big, not to small. Also hunting gives people 100% natural meat. Not the crap that farmers put growth hormones in. I am voting for hunting to be good, because it actually helps the enviorment.

How to fix a problem.

My journalist has just gotten a interview with a celebrity. She doesn't  know how to pounce words. You don't want her to sound uneducated, what do you do? Get a remix program I say. Take a speech or sentence that the celebrity once said and take out the words that you think they tried to say. For example, the person tries to say "Beach", but they accidental say "Bitch". That would sound bad in the news. So the editor gets a sentence made by the same celebrity and cut out the words that should have been said and put it over the words that have problems. That's my solution, it always works.

Teleportation

Recently people have found out how to teleport humans. They do it by cutting off time periods in a person’s life. The public think this is amazing, thinking that it would really happen, and everyone would have their own way of teleporting. I don’t think its news worthy though. Everyone heard it, and you know peoples ways. They never stick to the truth of a story and add details they make up themselves. For example someone might say that teleportation is going to be possible in 2050, and other might say that it would be opened to the public for their own uses. But really it would be created soon and it would only be used for the government. Never trust anyone or anything until something actually happens.

Is it ethical to download?

You post a picture on facebook, your friends comment on it, your friends "like" it, they do everything that you expect. You wouldn't expect someone to download the image and use it for them self. I do not think its ethical to use someone's picture in a news paper, or post it on another sight, or put it in a movie. At least get the persons permission until you do anything with the picture.

Should the public know?

There was a prison rage in American. The guards barely got the prisoners under control. I think that the news journal should write about it. At least let the people around the area know, just in case if there really was a prison rage. Let the civilians be prepared. The government has no right to not let the news report on it. Everything needs to be told to the public.

South Park Videos Are Not Right Or Right?

Every person in the world has a religion, Muslim, Jewish, christian. There are dozens of religions. South park, Family Guy and the Clevend show, are just 3 out of hundreds of cartoons that have jokes about religion in it. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about it. Everyone has at lest once made a joke about someone else religion, and plenty of times about they're own. I think that cartoons should be able to make jokes about any religion.

         Enviormental ethics relate to animals. Animals being abused, treated badly, and the charges the people face when they get caught. I think its wrong when a person doesn't treat there dog, cat or even fish right. If they cant take care of it, don't buy them! For example Michel Vick, he had dog fights, and even made money off of that for months. Then he got thrown in jail for four years, for all the dogs he killed and torchered, he should have been in there for at least 5 months for each dog he killed. I always hated animal abusers.

Hows that not news?

        The news and politions talk about how unhealthy America is and that they need to eat healthy.
But the thing is that they don't talk on how to fix the obesity and all the fat people are consumings. McDonald's makes very unhealthy food; which could cause diabetes, heart attacks and strokes. The news should report on how bad the food is for someones body. Not just say that it is, but how to cut back on it and how to stop a addiction. They could do this by making another section in the news paper called "Health" or "Helping our Body" and put information down that could help the people. Plus we could start to write more about health; instead of once a week, make a article everyday or every two days. There are plenty of was to stop this problem , we just need to do it.

Space for the Public

 Virgin airline have made a space ship that can take people to space. How is that not news! Most people think that the public being able to view space is just nothing. I think that should be heard all over the world and let everyone have a chance to buy a ticket to see the world in one view. Just because the prise is at 200,000$ doesn't mean that its not important. When the first person that went into space, all of the world was amazed. Now they have a chance, but still think its not important. I truly think that if anyone could go to space, it should be heard all over the world.

Get it on tape

I think its okay for a person makes a tape on someone else because it does good to the person who made the mistake. For example a politician would make a speech, but make a different thought through the people's mind. The society would make plenty of jokes about it and be rude because the politician said something wrong. Then one person or even a few would make a video trying to fix the speech and show politician what the  wanted to say. Put it up on YouTube, or just on the Internet and the trolls (people who write hate) might stop. I do think that making a tape about the truth on someone is good.

Social Networking

Social networking has changed the world. For example face book has changed the news. People are posting news on there accounts all the time. Not to mention the likes. Every time you like something, it always shows you the post the page makes. The community has more access to information, people, family members, etc.  Plus people could make new friends easier by just having a online conversation. Business couldn't be easier too. The boss just has to post a question or an order and the employees could respond to it. Social Networking has made peoples lives easier.

Free Press

Other countries don't want people to make stories about the government that the politicians don't want the public to know. For example China, if a news reporter makes a article that reflects on a companies bad side, that reporter could get thrown in jail. Truly I don't think we could do something that could help effectively and quickly. I do think its wrong and we should at least try, because people deserve to know whats going on in their county.

My Idea

For a hard news story I would write about the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico.

First I would write the details, put in peoples opinions, how its affecting them, what BP plans on doing, and how much damage is it doing to the aquatic life.

To get good facts, research would be the best idea, and I could call my friend up in Florida and ask him how is life right in the oil spill.

Journalism and Troops

Adding journalists and troops together I think is a good idea. They have the disunion if they want to go to the danger and have a wrist of getting shot or dieing. If they come back in one piece the story they would have is a great help to the the society and let the people know what war is like before they join the army. Plus professional journalists think its a good idea. Journalist would be endangering them self when they try to get a story from the war zone, but they still would be helping the world.

Do we connect?

I disagree that 7th grade is connected to the world when we write our journals. We might be writing about things around the world, but still no one reads the articles except the teacher or students. Plus it would take alot of skill to have a professional company to put a journal put into the news paper. 

Privacy

Privacy, something everyone has. Some people tell no one anything, but some just blurt things out that would really affect them badly in the future.  I am personally private; I don’t tell others about my life. I don’t care on how others post on facebook, twitter, ect.

Its just there problem if its really something that shouldn’t have been posted gets viral. Truly I don’t really think it’s a good idea, but it’s the person’s decision.

Burning the Caron

There is two side to the story of Mr. Jones burning the Caron. The people who think its wrong, and the people who think its right. In my point of view, both sides are right. First of all, there are thousands of Muslims in the world. Not all of them are evil. Plus the good Muslims are just going to be angry at him, its not going to mean anything to other religions. Its just to make him feel good. Now for all the people who think that its a good idea to burn the Caron also have point. The where innocent Muslims who cheered when 9-11 happened. Now I don't want to get into my opinions because someone would get mad at my expressions and hate me. Its like politics.....

Moscow Fire

                         Fires have spread over 500 square miles, killing thousands.




     The toxic smog has shrouded Moscow for nearly a week that lifted on Wednesday. Russian firefighters are still battling to contain the fires sparked by the country’s worst heat wave since records began. It all started because of a dry heat wave and little rain. It is said that the fire started in a wheat field in the country. The fires grew rapidly and spread to the forest. One area had toxic chemicals, which quickly the fire spread to. The smog from forest fires has tripled in size over the weekend has been choking the capital, forcing many to flee and doubling death rates in the city. The elderly has been getting hit the worst. Parents have been trying to keep there children safe from the toxic. One woman even put damp cloths over the windows to keep the toxic air from coming in.


     The fire has cause Russia millions of Grevnas to control. Just as the fire was getting under control, another wave started. One fire fighter says “Just one cigarette bug can light this place up” Another one said “This fire is spreading like there is gasoline pored all over the land”. Even when it rained, the fire wasn’t stopped. After days of fighting, fire fighter finally got the flames out. Russia was really hurt by this natural disaster.

What is best to remember when writing a hard news story? #1

           The best thing to remember when writing a hard news story is to make sure that the people will be interested in reading the story. If it will be boring or old, most people wont buy the news paper and the company wont make a good profit. Also the story needs to have important details so the story will make sense. The people need to know what is going on in the world in full detail. Another important thing that is always needed is that to make sure to add other peoples opinions who are in the middle of the situation.
