What does this quote mean?
To me , "I became a journalist because I did not want to rely on the newspaper for information" means that the news is not always true. If the man wanted to get real information, he became a journalist because he wanted to be the one to view an event for himself and know the truth. The man didn't want to read another mans words that could be wrong.

Money and Info
I think that the publisher is not in trouble or a savior. They are just doing their job and putting out information to the public. Just because the politician paid them to post an article, its not the news paper fault. It still did good to the public because now the bad person is out of office.

Gay rights
I cannot answer this journal. I never could understand why there was such a political problem with gay marriage. I did watch the interview with President Obama, but I cannot see why people disagree with it so much. I literally do not understand anything about gay marriage and the laws against it. I cannot answer this journal.

Cow Farts
Farts are deadly! Literally! Cow farts are destroying Earth's Atmosphere. We need to stop this, but I have no idea how. If less cows were on farms and we only use the ones we need, maybe less "farts" could be made causing the atmosphere to be damaged. I have no idea how the government will fix this problem because we cannot tell a cow to stop farting.

Celebrating A Death
I do not care if the president celebrates the death of Osama Bin Ladin. The man was terrible and did horrible things. If a person sticks up for Bin Ladin, they are basically taking side of a terrorist. Sure a person can argue that its wrong to celebrate anyones death, but do they really think that he didn't celebrate the success of bombing the Twin Towers and taking many lives of innocent employees and firemen that tried to save them? Plus the president isn't having a party or making a spacial day in regards of the death, so its not a big deal. Yet I think we should. For all I think, Osama could have just been thrown into the streets to rot and get feasted upon by vultures.

Mac VS. PC
I have a huge computer station at home ranging between both operating systems, Macintosh and Microsoft. I have 3 Dell computers and one iMac Pro 28''. I believe that I know much about the two systems and can easily operate them. Microsoft is a great tool to use in business situations with its well known "Microsoft Office". While Macs are best used to create artworks and creative ideas. therefore it makes me extremely mad when people compare them. The two computers have totally different operating systems; they cannot be compared on which is better. Its like asking a person "Which is better, a banana or a pickle". They have the same form, but really do not have anything to do with each other.
Although, Microsoft can easily get a virus compared to a Mac. I think its so stupid how Microsoft tries so hard to create great Virus protecting programs while Macs use one of the most simplest method ever. When you download something on a Macintosh and plan to install it, it automatically informs you that something just downloaded and ask your permission to install it. On a PC, the virus can download itself and install itself without me even know it. I think that Macs should start looking toward virus protecting programs, but its not so necessary right now.

Money Dropped
To me a crime is something that is done on purpose without question. If this woman picked up two thousand dollars that a man dropped, but didn't say anything, she could be in trouble. What if she didn't see him drop the money, what if she didn't want to announce that she just found 2,000$ and everyone say its there's. She could have possibly just wanted to bring the money to the police department and have them investigate who's it is. Although if she did intend on keeping it even when she knew who's it was, shame on her. Carma will show her.

Important Techonology
The technology we use these days for journalism is very important. For example, the recorder and camera can help a writer take note of certain events without having to memorize what the interviewee is saying. The computer has possessing system like Microsoft Word to help the journalist write without having to throw out an entire article if they mess it up on the type writer. Plus the iPhone helps make the writers job easier by basically being a "moving personal computer".

what that this quote mean?
"A man whole doesn't read at all is better educated then a man that reads nothing but the news paper". This quote means that it is better if a man doesn't read the news because the paper can be written with lies and influences the wrong things. When a writer writes an article, he can put whatever he wants into it and cause wrong facts to get around. It is better to stay away from the news paper unless its 100% accurate, but you never know.

Eminem
My whole family likes Eminem; many people do. Although many of his songs are rude and are disturbing, he has a subliminal message in them. Many rappers just sing about how much money and girls they get, while Eminem sings about his problems. Its like his diary that he shares with the public. Sometimes the message he's sending isn't so great, but there are many others that many people can relate to.

Facebook privacy
People should know that anything that is posted on Facebook will always be seen. Either if a persons account is Privet or Public, it will somehow be seen. If a person hacks into your account or you forget to sign out on someone else's computer, your account isn't privet anymore. You Facebook account will NEVER be privet. I just don't understand why people are complaining about this form of "invasion of privacy". When a new user to Facebook makes an account, they agree to a contract by clicking on that "I accept the Terms and Conditions" and in that contract it says specifically not to post anything "bad". This is why you don't post anything that you will regret. SO in the future if a person has a job interview, I think it is totally okay for the interviewer to ask to view their Facebook. If it happened to me, I will have no problem showing them because I know that I don't have anything to hide or worry about. I am always careful about what I post. I don't understand why its such of invasion of privacy, you can never expect anything to be privet on the internet.

Is hacking legal?
Any type of hacking should be illegal. If you cannot access something, there is a purpose. Either to keep you save or copy right issues. People shouldn't hack others unless they want to get charged or are doing it for a company that paid them to hack their own website or program.

weapon
the u.s has made a weapon that can shoot about 100 miles; the size of Delaware. It is an electromagnetic weapon and and in my opinion, is pretty sweet. Its good to know that our country is continuously developing in weapons to keep us safe. I dont think that all of the information about what weapons we have should be out to the public, but people knowing about this new weapon we have is a nice "demo"

Journalism
There always will be new news in the world and it is a journalism job to report it. Journalism is very important when it comes to the public knowing information. The public should always know whats going on around them. either to keep themselves safe or know that there is a huge sale on their favorite beauty product. People that go to the front line of a battle have lots if repect because they put theri lives out to get a simple story to let the world know whats going on.

If everyone was to be home schooled.
I believe that having all the kids in the U.S be home school is a terrible idea. First of all, many home schooled children don't gain as much social skills that everyday school kids have. Plus if no schools all across the country have any students attending it, many jobs will be lost. School districts will close, thousands of teachers will lose their jobs, then more people will be fighting for jobs causing young adults not have a good chance to start their life making money.

Preventing Hoax
How to prevent hoax. There are 4 steps on how to make rumors not spread.
Step 1. Call a person out when they say something that is wrong.
Step 2. Comment or flag a post that a person made on a social network.
Step 3. Tell others about what really happened
Step 4. Do not repeat the rumor.
If you follow theses steps, no hoax will happen, and no lies will be spread.

Millions of people in the world have Facebook accounts. Millions of people post pictures on Facebook. Yet what they don't think about is, Facebook now owns your photos. If you delete a picture from Facebook, it cannot be seen by others, but are still in the companies computers. I think that this is okay because people should think about what they post. Plus they agree to a contract that says exactly what Facebook will do with your photos. For example, if a criminal has a Facebook, and has killed many innocent people, the police can go to the company to get many photos of the criminal to bring justice.

Freedom of speech
Freedom of speech is a right. For students, freedom of speech never ends. As a matter of fact, they get hello more of the right. Since they are not adults, they can not be thrown in jail or get sued for what they said. For non students, freedom of speech is everywhere, but limited. A persons freedom of speech ends when he is disturbing another ones rights.

good and evil staying around for ever
Good and evil has been around forever and will never stop. There is always someone/thing having evil or good thoughts. All living things have emotion that tells them if they want to do something nice or bad.
For example, if a monkey wants to steel another monkey’s banana, he could and that would be evil. If a monkey wants to give another monkey a banana, he could and it will be good. Same thing looks toward humans, but only the good and evil can be more sophisticated.
